We’ve been getting green here at White Lion Walk.
We are near completion of our rooftop biodiversity garden, a collaborative effort involving Redevco, The Momentum Group, and Zero Carbon Guildford.
This initiative marks a significant step forward in urban greening efforts and aligns with Guildford’s broader sustainability goals. Additionally, the recent management office refurbishment has enabled staff at White Lion Walk to access this green space, contributing to employee wellbeing and enhancing the overall work environment.
The garden, installed by volunteers from Zero Carbon Guildford’s ‘urban greening’ team, is in its finishing stages. A final planting session is scheduled for spring, when vegetables will be added to provide fresh greens for staff lunches.
